In celebration of Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee, a limited edition set of 70 Rose Beakers have been comissioned.
Designed by Sheffield designer James Bailey, each beaker features 11 hand chased roses, or rose buds, the same number as shown on the Queen’s Personal flag, which was created in 1960 to represent her role as head of the Commonwealth.
Each beaker is handmade in Britannia silver in Sheffield. Using both modern and traditional manufacturing techniques, this limited edition piece is a testament to the amazing skills of British craftspeople who work in a fifth generation family business; Fancis Howard.
